Meals on Wheels

Mt. Calvary volunteers assist with Meals on Wheels by being responsible for the delivery of a hot meal to Boulder shut-ins every Wednesday.  Mt. Calvary’s route takes in about ten people who for whatever reason are challenged by getting a healthy meal.  We deliver food and a caring message to these people at lunchtime.  I am sure the meal is critical for their health, but I imagine the contact with a caring human being is also very important to them.

We currently have a need for one more driver who would be responsible for one Wednesday a month.  The time commitment would be about an hour and a half and entails picking up the meals from central Boulder and delivering food to about ten houses in south Boulder in the neighborhood close to Mt.
