Start: 08/23/2008 - 8:00am

Come to our huge garage sale this Saturday! All of the proceeds will be going to Habitat for Humanity. This is a special fund raiser with tons of cool donated items. If you can't come for the shopping, please consider dropping off some items from your garage or attic. All donations are tax deductible and can be left at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church office during normal business hours. If those times are inconvenient, feel free to bring donations by on Saturday morning as well. The sale will be at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church located at 3485 Stanford Court in Boulder, CO. The church is almost directly across from the George Reynolds branch of the Boulder public library and across Table Mesa from the South Boulder King Soopers grocery store. Hope to see you on Saturday!

 Habitat for Humanity

Mt. Calvary has a long tradition of partnership with Habitat for Humanity in Boulder County. Habit for Humanity’s mission is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make simple, decent housing a matter of conscience and action. They don’t believe in “handouts” but rather encourage a “hand up,” and they put that policy into action by requiring future homeowners to provide hundreds of hours of sweat equity into their homes and to pay for their homes with affordable financing options.
