Mount Calvary Lutheran Church

Crafting a New Normal

On Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 10 am to 3:30 pm, you are all invited to participate in a community gathering, “Crafting a New Normal.” This free gathering, including lunch, at First United Methodist Church in downtown Boulder is open to all.

The goal of this gathering is for participants to be inspired to act in ways that honor diversity, empower the marginalized, and liberate the oppressed. “Crafting A New Normal” will feature a nationally known social justice activist, Bishop Tonyia M. Rawls, CEO of The Freedom Center for Social Justice and founder of a diverse progressive Christian congregation in Charlotte, NC.

The day will also include a panel of diverse individuals who represent various Boulder County organizations. Our own Nicole Garcia will be a member of the panel. Please contact Nicole for any information or go to the website,
